The new star kids on the block, Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan are being pitted against each other. They are being seen as each other’s competitors since Janhvi’s debut in Dhadak. Sara Ali Khan will soon make her debut in Simmba and Kedarnath as well.
However, the audience is eagerly waiting to see Sara’s performance and then, compare it with Janhvi’s work, Janhvi doesn’t feel the same. She recently spoke at an event talking about the competition between the newcomers in Bollywood including Ananya Pandey, Sara Ali Khan, and Tara Sutaria.
She said its unjust to only compare women and ask about their competition with their contemporaries. And that her co-star Ishaan Khatter had every reason to feel the “sting of the competition” too.
She further added, “I don’t know why everyone is pitting us against each other. I guess people enjoy doing that. Competition is a bad thing if you make it sound that way.”
As an audience, Janhvi said that she is looking forward to seeing Sara’s work in her Bollywood debut. She revealed that she’s interacted with the actress and she knows that Sara is a lovely person.
