Moisturisers are something I didn't really see the need for until a few months ago. I've always used the everyday basics like Vaseline or Nivea and they seem to work well enough, so I never really thought about investing in body moisturisers with a different formula. So this is the first time I've used a body yoghurt and here's what I honestly think about it.

What Is It?

The Zesty Lime Blossom Water-Gel Body Yogurt is a water-based gel moisturiser for your whole body. It’s ideal for normal to dry skin, has a floral scent, and claims to provide 24hrs of moisturisation. The gel is enriched with Community Fair Trade organic aloe vera from Mexico and lime blossom extract. It is also certified by The Vegan Society.

Our Thoughts

I love it! The texture is super lightweight and absorbs into the skin to make it plump and super soft to the touch. The smell is lovely and adds to the whole experience. It’s one of those products you really look forward to applying after a shower! I use this in the Mumbai humidity and it does not pill/melt off, plus I don’t need to keep reapplying it since it does give me at least 8-10 hours of moisture.

Talking about things I didn’t really like: the moisturiser can be quite sticky on first application, especially if you use a lot. Although, it does sink into the skin in minutes so that’s not a deal-breaker. This moisturiser is not recommended as a long-term solution for extremely dry/cracked skin since the hydration from the moisturiser is not supremely deep.

How To Use It

I usually use this after a normal shower. I highly recommend applying it after a body scrub, since it extends the time for how soft your skin feels after.
