We genuinely thought that Vishal Kotian was going to be one of the strongest contenders during the initial weeks of Bigg Boss 15. Now, we are wondering what went wrong with him? We are not even talking about how he has backstabbed almost everyone in the house! This time, he got our attention for his blatant sexism.
Allow us to give you a little context: During the recent Bigg Boss press conference, a reporter questioned Vishal about his comment on Raqesh Bapat and Shamita Shetty’s relationship. Earlier this month, the Akbar Ka Bal Birbal actor made a nasty remark about the Qubool Hai actor and said, “Bohot bada haath maara hai apne bhai ne.(He has scored big)“
Vishal tried to defend himself but he just made it worse by saying, “I mean kya kadak ladki patai hai (What a hot girl he has landed)? and went on to use words like “maal” for Shamita. NGL, it was hard to sit through this conversation!
In the latest episode of BB 15, Vishal brought up this topic once again while sitting with Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash. He tried to justify the word “maal” and claimed he even called Neha Bhasin by the same term. Shockingly, Karan also didn’t see the issue with the term!
Thankfully, Tejasswi didn’t let this topic slide and called out Vishal. The actress said, “You can’t call me maal. It is not the right word. You can’t objectify a girl. Don’t say that. It is extremely objectifying. I am telling you both very politely, don’t say that word, it will take me only a second to lose it. Don’t justify.”
Vishal being Vishal continued to argue with Tejasswi and mentioned the popular song, Tu cheez badi hai mast mast. The Swaragini actress responded to this and stated, “Cheez? You are objectifying a girl. Woh zamaane gaye jab aise song bante the (The times have changed)… woh woh waala time tha ‘Tu haan kar ya na kar tu hai meri Kiran’, that phase has gone and you cannot call me a maal. Please end the topic and since you guys are my friend, I am explaining it to you very politely.”
While we are honestly loving this new ballsy side of Tejasswi, we are hoping to see some major changes in Vishal’s attitude ASAP!
