Since her Bigg Boss 15 win, Tejasswi Prakash has been consistently in the headlines. She has been receiving a lot of appreciation for Naagin 6 and has been considering a lot of interesting projects. The actress has a cult following, and her fans are eager to see her on the big screen. Well, they won’t have to wait too long because Teja is all set to lead a Rohit Shetty film!
Rohit Shetty, known for his action-packed masala movies, has produced his first Marathi film, School College Ani Life. Directed by Vihan Suryavanshi, the film revolves around a man’s love story and a very special friendship with his mentor who guides him through every stage of his life. Tejasswi plays the lead actress in the film, and she will be seen romancing Marathi actor Karan Parab.

This is Tejasswi’s second Marathi film after Mann Kasturi Rey and is extra special since it is produced by her mentor and “khiladi,” Rohit Shetty. Tejasswi met the director when she participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 10. She was one of the most promising contestants and became the host’s favourite in no time. It was during the show that Rohit Shetty decided to cast the actress as the lead in his first Marathi film.
The film is set to hit theatres on April 14 and the actress has begun promoting it alongside the director. The two promoted it on a Marathi show, and Tejasswi posted a couple of selfies with Rohit from the set. She wrote, ‘Ab yeh khiladi milenge “school college ani life” mein…Near your theatres 14th April Promotion begins.‘
Tejasswi has already made her mark in the TV industry and we wouldn’t be surprised if she took over B-town as well. After all, she does have the talent and potential. Keep slaying, Teja!
