Gone are the days when talking about your pregnancy struggles was considered taboo. Today, several actresses are vocal about their postpartum experience, and it’s refreshing. Kareena Kapoor recently revealed that she struggled to get back to her normal routine after her second pregnancy. Neha Dhupia shared that she went through postpartum stress after giving birth to her little girl in 2018 and took months to get better.
While the nine-month journey of women is not easy, what comes next is not a cakewalk either. But, if there’s something that makes this experience worse it’s the unwanted snarky remarks women get online. From body-shaming to judging them as mothers, a few netizens just cannot stop themselves from spewing hatred and it’s not okay!
Teejay Sidhu faced something similar recently when she got trolled for sharing a picture in a monokini on her social media handle. But, she was not ready to take any BS from anyone and called out the trolls with a savage reply.
In the caption, the mother of three beautiful daughters wrote that she received unsolicited comments on a video she had shared recently. She said, “I posted a swimwear picture a few days ago and some people commented that my tummy wasn’t in great shape. (Thank you so much for that!) 😄🙏”
Teejay had mentioned earlier in that said video that she was conscious about wearing a bathing suit as she had not done that in two years. The fact that certain people chose to spread negativity instead of encouraging and appreciating her is infuriating us even more.

Teejay added that she did not wish to share photoshopped images and wrote, “But I don’t want to post glossy, touched up images so that my body looks more pleasing. Nor do I want to hide myself. I am on my own journey and while I don’t have major weight issues, I do have parts of me that annoy me! I want a fitter body so I am working towards it. I had children so it will take time. “
The television host and her husband, TV actor Karenvir Bohra, welcomed their third daughter in December last year. Never mind what the trolls say, we think that the gorgeous mama looks absolutely stunning in that monokini.
Teejay said that she didn’t care about impressing anyone, but wished to inspire others. She wrote, “And while I’ve never cared about impressing people, I do care about inspiring them. I can only do that if I share myself authentically.”

Well, we find Teejay’s attitude of not giving two hoots about the online negativity quite inspiring. As for the netizens with tons of unwanted nasty opinions, we hope her message educated them about body positivity and basic decency.
