Anand Vada Pav
My mother loves vada pav and introduced me to Anand Vada Pav opposite Mithibai College after picking me up from school one day. And since then, it’s the only vada pav place where I eat from. Since I never liked vada pav, being a fan of this cheese vada pav is a huge deal for me. With the chutneys, it’s the perfect blend of sweetness and spice, and the flavour is to die for. They also have amazing dosas and frankies. Definitely, a must-try if you’re around the area.

Kavita’s Vada Pav
Every time I visit South Bombay, I must make a stop to Kavita’s Vada Pav stall. She and her family have been in the street food business for the past 30 years now! It’s a totally different experience of eating vada pav layered with hot ragda (similar to chhole tikki.) The taste is a mix between spicy, sweet and tangy. I usually team the dish with hot cutting chai. It’s like the perfect evening snack!

I LOVE this place. If you’re in Lower Parel, you must stop by! I assure you that their vada pavs are anything but regular. One plate comes with 8 pavs and the aloo is not mashed but in a fondue pot. Plus, the red masala comes in an edible wrapper. The concept is so cool, so fresh and so out the box! Worth the experience and travel.
Timing: 12 am – 4 pm & 6:30 pm to 12:00 am.

Remember to reach before 7:30 pm over here so that the vada pavs don’t get sold out before you arrive. Along with the vada pav, you are given chilly pickle, onion and 2 types of chutneys. Plus, each vada pav is priced at 15 Rs. In my opinion, it’s worth it.

I like schezwan vada pav the most over here. It tastes divine. I’m attached to this Centre because my father used to take me here all the time. Those memories always will be with me. I love this vada pav because of taste and my childhood memories. The best part is this, One vada pav is enough to fill your belly.

Kunj Vihar Vada Pav
Flocked between shops and restaurants, the Kunj Vihar Vada Pav stands tall as the local’s favourite go-to snack. This quaint little place situated near Thane station offers a host of snacks ranging from Dabeli to Kachori, but they’re most loved for their vada pav. As a broke college student, this vada pav offered respite to my junk cravings. It literally used to be my daily staple and trust me, it was delicious enough that I never got bored of eating it.

Shree Krishna Vada Pav
Shree Krishna Vada Pav is very popular in Dadar. What makes this vada pav unique is its stuffing, it’s spicy and delicious. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water! Even my mother-in-law loves it very much. Whenever we are passing through Dadar, we go here together. It’s like our daughter-mother-in-law special time.

Dhiraj Vada Pav
This iconic stall has been a popular hotspot since it’s inception 20 years ago. I had already heard all about it before I went to college. Since it’s situated right across the road from my college, everyone I knew would keep telling me how I had to eat from there all the time. And I’m happy to say, it didn’t disappoint at all. Their vada pavs are absolutely delicious, so much so that you can’t resist one even if you’re not hungry. The schezwan cheese vada pav here has got to be my favourite. It’s so good that even John Abraham used to stop by on his bike to pick one up, needless to say, all the girls in my college used to flock there even more for this reason.
