As the rakhi celebrations unfolded yesterday, albeit in lockdown, we saw a number of Bollywood stars join families for the festivities. Held keeping the norms in mind, the get-togethers were restricted to close-knit circles. The Kapoor clan also got together to celebrate the festival. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and several other family members met up for a family lunch, where they were also joined by Tara Sutaria and Aadar Jain.
A Family Get-Together
Dressed in a semi-formal outfit for the rakhi celebrations, Tara Sutaria joined the Kapoors for a family lunch. Read on to know more about her look.
Tara Sutaria’s Complete OOTD
Ditching ethnic Indian wear for another comfortable outfit, the Bollywood actress sported the tried-and-tested denims+white top look, a summer-appropriate uniform that fits in for any occasion. Channelling a semi-formal look that you could emulate for a back-to-work OOTD, Tara Sutaria layered her outfit with a white blazer, giving us a chic and striking appearance at the Kapoor family lunch.
The monsoons call for all of us to resort to fuss-free footwear that’s made for comfort. Tara also opted to round off her look with black close-toed flats. On the accessories front, a pair of massive hoops and sunglasses completed her look for the day. Surely a departure from the Indian wear that festivities call for, but nonetheless, Tara Sutaria’s classic semi-casual look is one you can create with the existing separates in your closet.
Styling White In The Monsoons
Wearing pristine white, especially during the monsoon, can be tricky business. However, if you are looking to break a few fashion rules this season, a couple of hacks can help you flaunt your white separates without getting them smudged. Here’s all you need to know:
-Carry a raincoat or waterproof outerwear at all times when stepping out, a sure shot way to shield you from the unexpected showers.
-Mix your white co-ords with colours, opting to layer them underneath if you are worried about getting them dirty.
-Add shorter hemlines, read skirts and shorts, to your monsoon wardrobe for carefree outings.
-For a carefree look, pair your bottoms with a white tee. This sure is a wardrobe staple that is bound to work every time.
All set to try Tara Sutaria’s semi-casual white look? We know we are!
