Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah‘s most loved character, Dr Haathi passed away two days ago. Essayed by Kavi Kumar Azad, Dr Haathi had a huge fan following. His sense of comic timing and effortless expressions made him one of the most popular characters on the hit TV show.
On Monday, the actor suffered a massive heart attack and left us fans were grieving.
The producer of the soap opera, Asit Kumarr Modi, has paid a heartfelt tribute to the late actor.
He took to Instagram to share a video with pictures and clips of Dr Haathi from the show. In the video, he says, “Our dear friend, Dr Hansraj Haathi, is no more with us. Life is eternal and love is immortal. With his acting, Kavi Kumar Azad, has earned your affection. He will always be in our hearts. Flowers wilt but their fragrance stays on.”
