You don’t need an Indian celeb wedding to shut down an entire town in Switzerland. Recently, an Indian NRI couple, Tanya Ganwani and Rajiv Verma got married in Montreux and the whole town came to a screeching halt with the celebrations. Tanya is the daughter of well-known real estate businessman Jayant and Monica Ganwani and the grandaughter of Lal Ganwani, founder of Lal’s group. Rajiv is the son of Shobha and Moni Verma, who are one of the big foodgrain exporters from London. The guest list included the likes of Sandeep and Namto Chaddha, Rita and Sunil Vaswani, Pernia Qureshi, Navin and Sonam Fabiani, Tej and Tara Lalwani, Kanika and Rishi Sanger, Sherina Dalamal and Kajal Fabiani. The grand wedding was designed beautifully by The Wedding Design Company.
The wedding and the arrangements did leave us in awe. Let’s start with the decor. It was fairytale setting right infront of the Swiss Alps.
Also, they got the pink right. The highlights were those cute baby elephants made out fresh pink roses.
The flower bed aisle is just what dreams are made of.
Let’s just say we haven’t seen a mehendi so intricate and pretty for quite some time.

The dining area couldn’t be anymore royal. Just what we see in KJo movies, right out of a fairytale.
Their couple wore outfits designed by Dalamal, couturier Suneet Varma, and Pakistani designer Faraz Manan.
The bride squad was in full swing too.
And guys, if you thought it was all about classy and dreamy stuff with no dhamaal, then you are wrong. Punjabi pop king Sukhbir set the stage on fire. Check out the video:
This is one wedding that had the best-dressed guests. A lot of them wore Suneet Verma creations for the wedding festivities and looked absolutely fabulous.
Hey look, designer Pernia Qureshi was there too. Dressed in an off-shoulder peplum top and a mermaid cut shimmer skirt she looked gorgeous.

And we saved the best for the last. The couple’s first dance together.
A grand reception in London is scheduled in end of June. And it’s a given, just like the gala wedding in Switzerland, the London reception will blow our minds away.
