This Rs. 70 Swiss Beauty Lip Liner Is Better Than Every Other One I’ve Tried

The one I’m reviewing today is the Swiss Beauty Bold Matte Lip Liner in the shade 06. Dark lip liners kind of lost their way in the mid-2000s but have made a raging comeback. Since the festive season is in full swing, this is a super cheap but high-performance product to gift and/or wear!

What Is It?

The Swiss Beauty Bold Lip Liner is a matte lip liner. It claims to have a waterproof finish and to moisturise your lips. It glides on smoothly and gives your lips a gorgeous pout.

Our Thoughts

At a mere Rs.70, I didn’t really have a lot of expectations but was still surprised by how much I enjoyed using this. I don’t usually use a lot of lip liners but I have used this one for everything it can be used for. From kajal to a full lip look, this pencil has done it all. Shade 06 is a cool-toned brown that works well with slightly fair to medium skin tones. I wear it with a little bit of gloss or another matte brown lipstick for a bigger pout effect and it works perfectly.

The texture of the product is kind of ashy and it’s definitely not transfer proof so you’ll have to keep reapplying it if you’re not careful. Don’t wear it to a dinner date but you can totally wear it dancing. Easy on the pocket, easy to carry, and does more than you thought it would – a decent one in my books!

How To Use It?

You can use it as a lip liner. Put a little bit of lip balm and line your lips, then add a sheer gloss to your lips and blend softly. It can also be used as a kajal or with another matte/liquid lipstick.
