It’s the season of red carpet shindigs in India and worldwide. I am here for it! We witnessed another high-octane fashion event over the weekend, with so many looks to discuss. So, without further ado, scroll down for the best and the worst looks from the night:
The Best Dressed!
Ananya Panday
Ananya Panday is currently in her Barbie girl era and the aesthetic suits her! For the recent event, she showed up in a head-to-toe hot pink look comprising a blazer dress, fishnet stockings, and matching platform heels. The actress finished off the look with a sleek chignon and looked stunning. That said, it was Ananya’s 5 lakh (approx) gold Judith Leiber bag that left everyone talking.
Sushmita Sen
Sushmita Sen did what she does best on the recent red carpet—channelled her inner girl boss. She dressed up in a navy pantsuit. The flared trousers and velvet fabric added a luxe touch to the look. To take it up a notch, Sush styled her blazer with a body chain instead of a shirt or bralette.
Sonam Bajwa
Sonam Bajwa left everyone gasping for air with her glorious printed “wet-dress” by Sergio Castaño Ortega. The aqua blue dress with sexy cut-out details fitted her like a glove.
The Akhtars
You can seldom go wrong in complementing black fits. Shibani Dandekar and Farhan Akhtar certainly did not!
Missed The Mark!
Janhvi Kapoor
Didn’t expect to see Janhvi Kapoor in the worst-dressed category anytime soon but here we are. Honestly, the silhouette is still giving. But the foil-printed fabric is an eyesore. It’s making the garment look cheap and pulling the entire look down.
Aditi Rao Hydari
That’s a nice colour but the style is simply not doing it for Aditi’s petite frame. Perhaps a more constrained pair of pants would have worked better!
Shamita Shetty
Wanna find out how much blue is too much blue? Check out Shamita Shetty’s cobalt blue fit for the answer! The see-through panels, the draping, the trumpet sleeve—there are just too many random details compacted in one look.
Well, those were some interesting looks, right?
