Despite being one of the fittest actresses in B-town, Sushmita Sen recently suffered a heart attack. A few days later, the Main Hoon Na actress shared how there was 95% blockage in one of her arteries. But with god’s grace and her warrior’s attitude, she made a stellar recovery and came back even stronger!
Recently, Vikas Kumar, her Aarya 3 co-star shed some light on Sush’s heart attack and revealed how it all happened amidst the shoot of the show. Scroll down to read more about it:
Sushmita Had A Stroke Amidst Aarya 3 Shoot:
Talking about Aarya 3 in a recent interview, Vikas Kumar (who plays the ACP) shared how Sushmita had a heart attack on the sets of the show and the shoot was. He said, “A major chunk of season 3 is done. The show is Rajasthan based. There are some outside scenes that we have to shoot in Jaipur. We landed there, but unfortunately, Sushmita Sen suffered a heart attack. We didn’t know at first about it. Ultimately in a couple of days, we got to know, as she revealed it to the world!” He even shared how Sush was unaware of the seriousness of her condition for a while. “In the beginning, even she didn’t know what happened. Tests were done and all. She came to know about it later and then she told the world. That’s how we got to know. We just did one day of the shoot and then we realised that we can’t proceed. By then, it was obvious that was not just a day or two’s affair, but we need to stop. So we stopped for a bit,” revealed the actor.
Back in 2014, Sushmita had earlier been diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Addison’s disease. Informing her fans about her stroke on Instagram, the actress urged people to monitor their health on a daily basis. She also jumped back to work in less than a month with her cardiologists’ advice.
