Earlier this month, the Main Hoon Na star left us all concerned when she revealed she suffered a heart attack. Following the attack, she underwent angioplasty and a stent was placed in her heart. Luckily, Sush had a narrow escape and she recovered like a boss.
Do you know who was that one person who helped Sushmita to bounce back quickly? The actress’ cardiologist Dr Rajiv Bhagwat! Dr Bhagwat opened up on her health in a recent interview and said, “Her (Sushmita Sen) high physical activity indeed helped in ensuring that the damage was limited. This is the biggest message that has come out from Sushmita’s episode: Be physically active.”
When Sushmita Revealed She Survived A Heart Attack
The Internet users went into a collective shock when Sushmita shared that she had a heart attack earlier this year. The actress dropped a picture with her father and shared that she underwent a heart surgery. She wrote, “Keep your heart happy & courageous, and it’ll stand by you when you need it the most Shona” 🤗👏❤️ (Wise words by my father @sensubir ) I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back…Angioplasty done…stent in place…and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ‘I do have a big heart’ 😉😄❤️ Lots of people to thank for their timely aid & constructive action…will do so in another post! 🤗❤️🙏”
Sushmita has now returned to her work commitments and even made her way to the Lakme Fashion Week runway. She walked the ramp for fashion designer Anushree Reddy and looked like a goddess. Scroll down for the video:
