After the critically-acclaimed Udta Punjab, Abhishek Chaubey has started shooting for his next film, Sonchiraiya, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar. The film is based on the life of a Chambal dacoit and is set in the 1970s. Going by the costumes and the action scenes, the movie seems to be very promising! “I can’t reveal much details about ‘Sonchiraiya’ and that’s the way it is. It’s a difficult film and we are gearing up to shoot it. Abhishek has been on my wish list of directors to work with, so I am really excited about working with him,” said Bhumi in an interview.
For now, though, we’ll have to be satisfied with what we get. Which is a sneak-peak into the shoot and Sushant Singh Rajput’s new look.
Look at that! You can barely recognize the man. But then again, this was expected of him. Despite the fact that Raabta didn’t do that well at the box office, Sushant’s look in the film was largely appreciated. From the unkempt grunge avatar to the combat body language, he completely transformed for the film.
Now, we can’t wait for Bhumi’s first look to be out!
