It’s June again–the heartbreak of a year that took Sushant Singh Rajput away from us last year. They say that those who have left us don’t suffer, it’s the ones who are left behind that do. In Sushant’s case, his ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande is surely one of these people. Their hit show Pavitra Rishta recently completed 12 years and the actress took to Instagram to talk about the same. During the Instagram live, she also talked about her fabulous co-actor Sushant and how he completed her character in the show.
Getting all emotional, she shared, “Sushant is no longer with us and without him, Pavitra Rishta is definitely incomplete. Archana ka Maanav sirf wahi tha (He was the only Maanav to Archana) and without him, everything is incomplete. But, I am sure wherever he is, he is watching us and he’s happy, where ever he is.”
During the live, she also talked about how Sushant was the one who taught her the nuances of acting. “Sushant always taught me acting. I wasn’t an actor. He was the one who used to teach me what is acting. Because I was a junior, he was a senior. He always taught me. He was a brilliant actor, brilliant co-star and I was very fortunate to work with him,” she added. It was definitely a very touching moment for all the Pavitra Rishta fans.
Before the live, Ankita also shared a fan edit of the show and thanked everyone who has been a part of this journey. “12Years!! Earlier this week, Ankita had posted a broken heart emoji on her story with the word “June” written on it. The story quickly led everyone to speculate about how she still misses the late star. Well, it’s been almost a year and no one has completely been over the fact that Sushant is no more. Clearly, it will take a while before we’d be able to discuss it all without a choked throat. As for Ankita and Sushant’s story–guess, it will always break out hearts.
