Happy Birthday King Khan!
Shah Rukh Khan turns 55 today and his fans can’t keep calm. SRK’s fans from all over the world have already poured in their wishes and extended their love to the Dear Zindagi actor. But one of the most special wishes comes from none other than Suhana Khan herself. She took to Instagram to wish her two ‘best friends’–her father and Shanaya Kapoor.
Suhana shared an adorable monochrome polaroid where she can be seen sitting between SRK and Shanaya. The story is actually a throwback to this date, one year ago when SRK celebrated his birthday bash at his Alibaug farmhouse. She captioned the story and wrote, “Happy Birthday to my bestfriends lol,” and added their ages–55 and 21. Her BFF Shanaya will turn 21 on November 3.
Shah Rukh Khan is celebrating his birthday in Dubai with his family this year. Every year, hundreds of people gather around his residence, Mannat, to wish the actor. However, this year SRK asked his fans not to do so because of the ongoing COVID-19 situation. He tweeted “Iss baar ka pyaar thoda door se yaar.” Nevertheless, the King of Romance is still trending on Twitter with the hashtag #HappyBirthdaySRK. His fans from all over the world have found creative and productive ways to wish the actor. While one of his fans solemnly resolved to be an organ donor, a fan club on Twitter announced they would distribute 5,555 PPE COVID-19 kits to the needy.
It is amazing to see that SRK’s fans are actually doing things on his birthday that would truly make a difference in someone’s life. Meanwhile, Suhana made her parents proud when she took to Instagram to talk about colourism and social media bullying she has been subjected to. Suhana shared a series of screenshots where random social media users trolled her for her skin colour. She shared a powerful message on self-love and concluded it by writing, “I’m 5”3 and brown and I am extremely happy about it and you should be too. #endcolourism”

Gauri Khan responded to her daughter’s message and said in an interview, “I think it is time we stop discriminating on the basis of the colour of our skin, and I am proud of her for standing up for herself.” Suhana received a lot of support on her post but, there were a few fans who pointed out that Suhana’s father herself promotes fairness creams.
Well, Suhana did not respond to that but we hope that SRK on his 55th birthday, gives a lot more reasons to his fans to love him even more. Maybe he can do that by stop endorsing fairness products for starters?
