When you are Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s daughter, you’re expected to have a wardrobe the size of a house! Suhana Khan, on the other hand, prefers sustainability to fast fashion. The star kid has become a youth icon even before the release of her debut film and for a good reason. She has often been seen restyling her mom’s old outfits, some of which are a decade old!

The Trend That Lasted A Decade!
Recently, Tania Shroff threw a birthday bash with an animal print theme. Guests were expected to wear any animal-printed outfit. Suhana attended the party in a strapless grey body-hugging gown with a snakeskin print and a plunging neckline. This dress was worn by Gauri over a decade ago! Suhana restyled the outfit with a different belt.
Six Yards Of Sustainability
At Alanna Panday’s mehendi ceremony, Suhana wore a sheer silver saree by Falguni Shane & Peacock. Not many are aware that the saree actually belongs to her mother! Gauri wore it to Akash Ambani’s wedding in 2019. Suhana restyled the saree four years later, adding her own modern twist. She draped it over a spaghetti-style blouse that was more “Gen Z” than Gauri’s embroidered half-sleeve blouse. Suhana’s blouse, unlike her mother’s, featured a deep back decorated with tiny tassels.
Polka Dots, FTW!
In 2020, Suhana posted a mirror selfie dressed in a satin black polka dot dress that fit her like a dream. This dress was worn by Gauri Khan 13 years ago, on the sets of Om Shanti Om. Suhana chose to ditch the thick black belt that Gauri wore to cinch the dress. The star kid accessorised the look with a black shoulder bag, while her mom had chosen a gold clutch.
Lucknowi Kurtis Never Go Out Of Style
In 2018, Suhana visited the Taj Mahal in Agra along with her friends. She wore a floral Lucknowi kurti that was decked in classic embroidery work. This kurti was also from Gauri Khan’s closet! Gauri was seen wearing it a few years ago as she stepped out in the city for a casual outing.
Suhana Khan has proven that fashion trends may keep changing, but certain outfits are eternal, especially when they are styled right! If only my sister were as understanding and generous as Gauri Khan.
