Italy seems to have become the favourite wedding destination for Bollywood celebrities. After Virat and Anushka tied the knot in a beautiful private ceremony in Tuscany in December 2017, reports suggest that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will also get married in an intimate ceremony in Italy this year. Reports also suggest that the private wedding ceremony will take place in November and will be attended by close friends and family of the couple. And given that DeepVeer does not want their privacy to be compromised during their wedding, Italy seems to be a perfect destination.

Sources close to the couple say that a wedding planner has already been hired by the families and preparations are on in full swing. Well, I don’t know about you but this has gotten me all excited. And now I’m going to tell you something even more interesting. Shah Rukh Khan and Arjun Kapoor, who are great friends with Deepika and Ranveer respectively, might be on the guest list for the Italy wedding. A source recently informed DNA:
“Both Ranveer and Deepika were keen to have a small ceremony. The wedding at a foreign destination will give them the privacy they desire. They will probably have a reception in Mumbai for their friends and colleagues. A few people from Bollywood like Arjun Kapoor, who is one of Ranveer’s closest B-Town buddies, and Shah Rukh Khan, who is fond of Deepika, may join the celebrations in Italy. The rest of the wedding party will comprise the couple’s family members and pals.”
Being a celebrity comes with its own pros and cons. While they get all the appreciation and fame, their personal life is always under the radar. So it’s quite understandable why most celebrities these days are opting for intimate destination weddings.
Ranveer and Deepika are looking at a November wedding because they will both be able to wrap up their current commitments by then. The source also told DNA:
“Ranveer’s Simmba will be wrapped up by then. He might just have some patchwork left to do. Deepika meanwhile, is in talks for various movies but is yet to begin any project. Their brand endorsement duties will also be adjusted.”
