B-town’s been experiencing wedding season for the last couple of months, especially the Kapoor family. While we’re still crushing on Sonam Kapoor and Ananda Ahuja’s grand Bollywood wedding, we’d be lying if we said we hadn’t already fantasized about how Arjun Kapoor would tie the knot. And believe it or not, the ‘marriage’ conversation has started the Kapoor household.
Like this Instagram post that the actor posted on his birthday. Amongst the millions of birthday wishes, there was one the actor received from his grandmother, Nirmal Kapoor that totally got our attention. “To Arjun Kapoor, with love dadi. Jaldi shaadi karo (Get married soon). From Mrs Nirmal Kapoor.”
And, like the rest of us, Arjun took to Instagram to share the gift he’s received with the rest of the world, “When ur dadi’s gift is a threat & request along with a bribe & command all rolled into one.”
Even though the desi boy totally believes in the idea of marriage, when asked about it at a recent event he said, “I believe in the institution of marriage. I will share the news with you all when it happens.”
But, there’s a twist. The young Kapoor nephew claims he’ll only get married after his sisters. “Recently, there were two marriages in the family. Let my sister Anshula get married, then there is Rhea and Janhvi and Khushi. There is time for me.”
Talking further about Jahnvi he says, “The kind of love Janhvi has got from the trailer of ‘Dhadak‘, hope that continues after the release of the film. She is someone who is passionate and wants to entertain the audience through her work. She wants to do good work. I hope she outdoes the expectations that have been bestowed on her from Dhadak.”
