The wedding celebrations for Bollywood fashionista Sonam Kapoor and her entrepreneur fiance, Anand Ahuja are officially in full swing. Since yesterday, we’ve been sitting with bated breath, watching the actress and her star-studded family come in and out of Anil Kapoor’s Juhu residence. Today evening marks the first day of the festivities with the entire Kapoor clan rushing to the venue in their finery to celebrate the upcoming nuptials.
So far, we’ve spotted her cousins Arjun Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Khushi and Janhvi Kapoor entering the residence dressed in traditional attire to partake in the celebrations. The sister duo of Janhvi and Khushi were spotted in lehenga by their favourite designer Manish Malhotra. And, the young Shanya was spotted in a pink sharara set. The young cousins were also spotted getting mehendi on their palms. The bride’s sister Rhea Kapoor also looked stunning in a muted white-gold outfit with her heena’d hands.
The groom, Anand Ahuja, arrived at the venue dressed in a pink kurta and looking rather dapper. We also spotted some aww-inducing moments of the couple together. Sonam’s already got her hands full with mehendi and looks picture perfect in a pink outfit.
Other stars, stylists and designers in attendance at the intimate ceremony at home include Karan Johar, Masaba Gupta, Pernia Qureshi, Kunal Rawal, Mohit Marwah, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla (who are rumoured to have designed the wedding outfit).
Sonam and Anand’s wedding date is set for this Tuesday, May 8, and we can’t wait to be a part of the happy couple’s celebration.
