Everytime I’m Asked What Perfume I’m Wearing, It’s Always The Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 71!

Sol de Janeiro’s Bum Bum Body Cream has been the most requested product from anybody travelling abroad. So when I heard about the reviews about the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 71 and how delectable it smelled, I had to have it.

What Is It?

Like me, the Brazilians also prioritise smelling good at all times. Their most-followed beauty secret? Cheriosa, aka, always smell delicious. The Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 71 has a gourmand fragrance with top notes of caramelised and vanilla sea salt, middle notes of toasted macadamia nuts and white chocolate and base notes of tonka bean and coconut blossom.

Our Thoughts

I’ll get straight to it – if you love the smell of baked goods, so much so that you don’t mind smelling like a cupcake yourself, this scent is for you. It is a little richer than the Cheirosa 62 and instantly makes you feel like you’re in a bakery. It is delectable and so luxurious it’ll almost make you feel edible.

Two of my favourite things about this mist are its long-lasting and can be applied both on the body and hair. I sprayed this on my sweater before heading out, and three days later, on laundry day, I found the scent still lingered on the fabric. It feels like an indulgent scent that can be worn both during the cooler months and in summer, as long as you love a sweet surprise. I swear, every time I spray this on me, I get asked which perfume I’m wearing. So, I know it REALLY creates an impression.

The only drawback I could think of (if you’re really looking for one) has to be its pricing. The perfume mist is priced at Rs. 1900 for 90 ml and Rs. 3350 for 240 ml. While I haven’t found a scent that quite matches this one, there are numerous vanilla/caramel-flavoured scents available at a fraction of the price. They’re just not as decadent as the Cheirosa 71.
