Nothing escapes the watchful eyes of the internet. Recently, Anil Kapoor was spotted at the Night Manager 2‘s promotional event with Sobhita Dhulipala. While everything appeared pretty normal at first, some folks on the internet had a problem with how Anil posed with Sobhita.
A Reddit user shared a video of Anil in which he is holding Sobhita by her waist. The comment reads, “Bollywood Creeps. Look at his hand. Disgusted by the video. And how is this a jhakas jodi. 66 year old man with a girl less than his daughter’s age.” Scroll down to the video:
Many commented on the post with their hot take on the video. “Please many times women react this way because they don’t want to make a scene. If she will react …many will say he was only posing for the press pictures”
Another wrote, “An outsider usually has no choice but to grin & bear such creepy behaviour. And the sad part is, they usually do these kind of bs only towards the outsiders. They know where they can get away with it.” Take a look at some more comments:
IMO, a 15-second clip is not enough to form an opinion about Anil or Sobhita. In the past, both actors have maintained that they share a good relationship. In an earlier interview, the Ram Lakhan star spoke about his experience of working with Sobhita in Night Manager 2. He said, “She was so supportive and wonderful that it helped me greatly. I might be experienced but youngsters sometimes don’t realise how much working with them and having their support helps me. The more time you spend in this business, the more difficult it becomes sometimes.”
Let’s not be too hasty to judge someone on one clip from an event. Here’s hoping Anil and his team share an explanation soon!
