Hence, taking out time to eat right, sleep enough and drink enough water is super important.
What we eat has a huge impact on the health of our skin. Owning to our ever-busy schedule, an easy-to-consume smoothie is one of the best ways to provide our skin with all that it needs to glow and look radiant. So, to help you look your ever-radiant self, we’re listing down two healthy smoothie recipes that are yummy and filled with nutritious benefits.
Smoothies Recipes That Are Delicious And Great For The Skin
Detox Smoothie For Clear Skin
All You Need Is:
- 1 small banana
- 2 cups fresh kale or baby spinach
- 1 cup pomegranate juice
- 1/2 cup greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1/2 cup water or ice cubes
- chia or flax seeds (optional)
Method
Step 1: Add all of the ingredients to a high-powered blender.
Step 2: Blend on high for at least 3 minutes or until smooth.
Step 3: Add ice cubes if you’d like to thin out the smoothie texture.
PS: If you’d like, you can add additional protein in the form of protein powder or Greek yogurt. Keep in mind that the smoothie will start separating after 30 minutes or so. A good shake of the mason jar or stirring with a spoon will fix this.
Green Smoothie For Glowing Skin
All You Need Is:

- 1/2 cup plain coconut water (or more as needed)
- 2 frozen bananas (previously peeled and sliced)
- 1 cup chopped pineapple (frozen or fresh)
- 1 cup chopped mango (frozen or fresh)
- 2 cups spinach or kale
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- Optional: 1 Tablespoon ground flax or flaxseed oil
Method
Step 1: Add all of the ingredients to the blender in the order listed. Make sure you have a strong, powerful blender.
Step 2: Blend on high for at least 3 minutes or until smooth.
Step 3: Add more coconut water if needed to thin out. Scrape the sides of the blender as needed.
PS: If you don’t have coconut water, use regular water or almond milk or your favorite juice. If you aren’t using coconut water, perhaps add a touch of coconut oil which is great for the skin. And, If you do not like any of the fruits listed, simply replace them with other ones that you find tasty. Or add strawberries or blueberries.
