Navratri calls for a Glamm up every night and so it helps to have a fool-proof makeup look in mind that never fails to look fabulous with traditional attire. My eyes are set on smokey eye makeup looks, because what else can make a bold impact and versatile enough to suit any ensemble.
To satisfy my need for intense smokey eyes that feature jus the right amount of shimmer, I decided to get my hands on a compact eyeshadow quad that has all the right eyeshadow shades in one palette. Lucky me, POPxo Makeup has a 4 Eyeshadow Kit that has exactly what I’m looking for. The Drama Queen Eyeshadow Kit has got all the shades necessary to create versatile smokey eye looks for the festive season and its travel-friendly packaging that is designed in pop art pink makes it a cute buy that delivers more than what you’d expect.
POPxo Makeup Drama Queen 4 Eyeshadow Kit
Something cool about this versatile palette is that the shades are so highly pigmented that you can even use the darkest shades (brown and black) as eyeliners. Replete with a base shade for your lids and a shimmer shade to highlight and shine, this eyeshadow kit is a complete winner in the essential makeup products list. I also got this palette for just Rs. 299 which is astonishing considering how amazing it is.

Check out how I achieved a gorgeous smokey eye makeup look with this amazing eyeshadow quad palette.
Step 1: Fixing The Base
To neutralise the skin tone on my lids, I used the lightest transition shade on the palette. It is a nude shade in a matte finish and it blends well on application. Apply it all over the lids and beneath the lower lash line. Blend well.
Step 2: Contour & Lift
To make my eyes appear more lifted and naturally defined, I used the brown shade to contour my eye shape. To do this, apply the brown eyeshadow in the crease of your lids and blend. For a lifted effect, extend the shade from the highest point of the crease and bend outwards. Now, connect the eyeshadow in angular shape to the lash line. This will give you a contoured cat eye effect.
Step 3: Add Sparkle
Time to use the gorgeous shimmer eyeshadow shade from the kit. Apply the shade on the centre of your lids and blend it well. Add some more shimmer to the inner corners on the upper and lower lash lines.
Step 4: Smoke It Up
Now that your eyes are beautifully highlighted and contoured, go in with the darkest shade from the palette. Apply the black eyeshadow on your lower lash lines with an angled brush. Then, blend it with a pencil brush to achieve a controlled smokey effect. Make sure to use a little product and build it up if you want more impact.
Step 5: Finishing Touches
You can use the black eyeshadow from the palette as an eyeliner like I did for a foxy effect. Swipe on mascara to seal the deal.
