Fun question—what’s better than celeb weddings? The anticipation! The excitement we feel in the air when a Bollywood couple is about to tie the knot is truly something. Yes, we’re obsessed with B-town weddings and if you’re too, then we have something amazing to share with you. Remember when we told you that Shibani Dandekar and Farhan Akhtar were all set to tie the knot in March this year? Well, there’s a change of plans and we’re loving it. It turns out that the two are getting hitched sooner than we think and we know the D-day.
According to a leading daily, Farhan and Shibani are apparently having a court marriage on February 21. They will celebrate the occasion with their close friends and family members in an intimate gathering a few days later.
A little birdie has revealed that the lovebirds are pretty excited about their special day and said, “Farhan and Shibani always wanted an intimate wedding and are really excited about their big day. The party will be a small affair with only people from their inner circle in attendance. It will all be about food, music, laughter and celebration.”
Interestingly, the pair was planning a grand wedding in March but had to change their plans due to the pandemic. A source close to the couple said, “Farhan and Shibani were planning a lavish wedding in Mumbai on March 2022. However, now they will keep it low-key as the COVID cases have been rising once again and there are many Bollywood celebs, too, who have been tested COVID positive.”
In an interview in 2019, the Rock On actor had revealed that he would get hitched in the next few months. Well, months turned into years, but we’re not complaining because the big day is almost here.
The couple will celebrate their special day at Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s Khandala farmhouse, Sukoon. Well, we cannot wait to see Farhan and Shibani as Mr & Mrs and their beautiful shaadi pics.
