For the longest time, we have been waiting for any announcement about Shehnaaz Gill’s Bollywood debut. Just last year, she appeared in a Punjabi film, titled Honsla Rakh, opposite Diljit Dosanjh and since then, her fans had been eager to know when she would make her way to B-town.
Shehnaaz had planned to make her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan’s upcoming film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. However, according to the grapevine, Sana is no longer a part of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali anymore and she has even unfollowed Salman on the ‘Gram. Perhaps the actress had a falling out with the Dabangg star? If these reports are indeed true, she is not the first actor to drop the project and we are now concerned about the fate of the film.
Kabhi In, Kabhi Out
Earlier this year, Aayush Sharma also walked out of the project citing creative differences. A while ago, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali director Farhad Samji spoke about the speculations surrounding the film. He said, “Everyone is writing their own version of the film, but we have not made any official announcement. The media is either reading my mind or just doing some sort of prediction. I truly believe, that silence is golden. I believe, Toofan Ke Pehele Khamoshi Hoti Hai… And Yeh Woh Khamoshi Ka Pal Ha (It is the silence before the storm)”
Now we wonder if Sana is also unhappy with the project. Meanwhile, a source close to the film’s production shut down all the reports of conflict between Shehnaaz and Salman and said, “The rumours are baseless. She is very much a part of the film.”
