Most of the Bollywood industry resides in Mumbai. So, fans are used to seeing celebrities at restaurants, gyms and salons, every now and then. And, likewise, celebs are used to getting clicked for a quick selfie. Often, things go a little out of control when fans get too close to the celebs invading their personal space. And that’s fair too.
Recently, Shamita Shetty got trolled by people on Instagram for manhandling a fan. In a video that went viral online, she is seen mistreating a woman who wanted to take a selfie with the actress. Star-struck as the fan was, she got a little nervous and confused about how to hold her phone for a picture. Shamita then grabbed her hand and quickly took a selfie. Not that the fan was crowding her. This incident came off as rude and arrogant and became the receiving end of hate comments by trollers who left no stone unturned.

Shamita can be seen rolling her eyes and getting irritated with the fan. The woman was going over to her other side because, well, we all have a good selfie side, now, don’t we? But looks like that ticked off the Mohabbatein actress.

The 40-year-old actress got trolled for being ‘arrogant’ and ‘rude’. People called her out for showing attitude to a sweet fan.
