In the past few days, a lot has been said about Shalin Bhanot and Sumbul Touqueer’s bond in the Bigg Boss 16 house. Most of the housemates are convinced something’s cooking between these two. In fact, Manya Singh has already declared that they are trying to be the “next #SidNaaz”. Meanwhile, Tina Datta is on a personal mission to decode the relationship which has many wondering if she too has a crush on the Naagin actor. The most fascinating part? Shalin is going about his daily life acting like he has no idea about the khichdi that’s cooking in the Bigg Boss house while it’s apparent that he is enjoying all the attention.
Well, at this point, we are certain that Shalin smells great ‘coz there is no way he can attract women like Sumbul and Tina with that stinky persona! He has been in the BB house for just a week and we have all seen him lying multiple times, manipulating his own ‘friends’, and never letting go of his sly ways. And while Shalin might act like he knows how to behave around women, he has clearly lost the plot with so many of them giving him so much bhaav.
Bro, What The Hell?
In last night’s episode, we saw Shalin telling Tina that he is trying to get rid of Sumbul ‘coz the Imlie actress looks like she has a crush on him. Shalin and Tina even concocted a plan where it was decided he’d be flirting with other women to drive Sumbul away. However, none of them tried talking to Sumbul about the problem despite being her “friends”. They just planned and schemed behind her back and made her look like the villain. He even said Sumbul was getting too clingy and he needed his space. Sadly, he was never this vocal in front of her and kept welcoming her to sit with him and even involving her in serious conversations.
Bigg Boss Hai Ya Splitsvilla?
Last night, we also heard Tina talking to Shalin and hinting at how Sumbul is not the only one with a crush on him. The Naagin actor had a weird reply and acted like he didn’t understand any of what Tina said. Shalin again feigned innocence when later Gautam Vig said that he was sure of Tina’s feelings for Shalin. “Bro uske chere ka rang badal jata hai jab wo tujhse baat karti hai. (Bro, her face changes when she is talking to you),” he said while Shalin kept repeating that he hadn’t noticed anything. All of this after Tina had dropped clear hints! Things went too far when Shalin talked to Tina later in the episode and started hinting at how he’d stop being “everywhere” if Tina was ready to do that too. Yup, it is as bonkers as it sounds and has us wondering if Shalin is confusing the Bigg Boss 16 house with Splitsvilla.
We are gonna say it. Shalin sounds like a typical fuck boy and his antics will not take him too far in the game. The audience can see through his giggly innocent act and if it continues, he’d soon be walking out of the Bigg Boss 16 house. Can someone please tell Shalin there are better ways of making his place than fake, curated romance?
