Not all heroes wear a cape. Some wear a sherwani. Shah Rukh Khan, or better known as a real-life superhero after recent events, was among the many celebs to attend the grand Diwali bash hosted by Amitabh Bachchan at his Juhu residence. But apart from posing for selfies and clicking pictures with other stars, SRK was also saving lives on the night of October 27.
During the festivities, fire brigade and ambulance had to be called when a fire broke out at Jalsa. According to reports, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s manager, Archana Sadanand’s lehenga caught fire after coming in contact with a diya in the courtyard. SRK was the first one to notice the fire and instantly rushed to her rescue. He helped put out the fire using his sherwani jacket. And the internet can’t stop lauding him for his heroic act and presence of mind.
Bollywood filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan also took to Twitter to praise the actor in her own style. She used a sneaky reference from their film together, Om Shanti Om, in which SRK had a small stint as Mohabbat Man. If you remember the movie, SRK rescued Deepika from a fire, too! She wrote:

Archana has been representing Aishwarya for more than a decade no and is close to the Bachchan family as well. Currently, she is admitted in the ICU ward of Nanavati Hospital after sustaining 15 per cent burns on her hands and right leg. Sources confirm that Archana is recovering and is able to walk inside the ICU. She’s receiving proper treatment from Dr Devyani B Venkat, a plastic and reconstructive surgeon.
In fact, Shah Rukh also suffered minor burns while trying to save Archana. What a hero! No wonder fans can’t seem to get enough of him. Listen to the crowd cheering in this video of him entering the Diwali party with wife Gauri Khan. Such is his stardom!
