Ever since Selena Gomez and Zayn Malik were spotted kissing, the internet has gone into a frenzy. Several sources have now confirmed that the two are officially dating!
While the internet is swooning over this new couple, few people are aware that Selena has had a crush on Zayn since they were teenagers. In 2010, when both singers were just starting out, Selena admitted that if she had to kiss a member of One Direction, she would choose Zayn. In another interview, the Slow Down singer stated that Zayn is her favourite member of the boyband “because he’s cute.”

However, in 2010, he tweeted, “@selenagomez Hey :)” right after she called him cute! An insider confirmed the rumour by saying, “It doesn’t surprise me at all that they’re potentially together today. They had a thing years ago, when Taylor and Harry were dating.” As they say, what’s meant to be yours eventually finds its way back to you.
