Sara Ali Khan has done two movies so far and has already become a household name. Her memorable performance in Kedarnath marked an iconic debut followed by the masala blockbuster Simmba. Lately, the 23-year-old actress has been in the news for her rumoured relationship with Kartik Aaryan and their undeniable chemistry on the sets of Love Aaj Kal 2. But it looks like Kartik has certain points to keep in mind because Sara just disclosed something about her future.
In an interview with a leading magazine, the Bollywood actress mentioned that she considers her mom, Amrita Singh, her support system and wants to stay with her forever. “I intend to live with my mother for the rest of my life. She gets upset when I say that because she has this whole marriage plan for me, but she can also come with me no, what’s the problem? I love hanging out with her, and I miss her when she’s away even for a few days,” she said. Sara shares a very special relationship with Amrita, who has brought her and her younger brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan (18) up since her divorce with Saif.

Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan got divorced in 2004 when Sara was just 9 years old. Speaking about her relationship with her parents, Sara once mentioned that she was happy about their divorce, “I was more than okay with that arrangement. I think having two happy parents in different homes is much more preferable than two unhappy parents in the same home. I think I am the way that I am because my mother didn’t let me feel any kind [of] deprivation for even a second. I have a very hands-on mother. Once my brother and I were born, she did nothing but look after us.”

Sara also went on to share that, “I am immensely proud and grateful that I am their daughter, but I am on my way to establish an identity wherein there’s more to me. And this is just the beginning. I have a long, long, long way to go.”
The actress will next be seen in the second instalment of her father’s hit film, Love Aaj Kal, opposite Kartik Aaryan, directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film’s shooting has been wrapped up and it is speculated to release on Valentine’s Day in 2020.
