For the fans eagerly awaiting the release of Sanju, the filmmakers just dropped another trailer – and it feels right out of Munna Bhai MBBS!

In this movie, Ranbir Kapoor will be essaying the role of the controversial movie star, Sanjay Dutt. The movie is an autobiography of the life of Sanjay Dutt and the challenges he faced.
Getting back to the new trailer, the filmmakers stepped up their game by superimposing Ranbir into a scene from the old movie. Though, it left us wondering – “Why is the scene dubbed with Sanjay Dutt’s voice instead of Ranbir’s?”. In the entire movie Ranbir’s voice has been used. Well, I guess we will really get to the crux of the matter once we watch the movie!
The Munna Bhai MBBS producer, Vidhu Vinod Chopra was quite skeptical if the movie should be made or not, but according to a media website when he read the script with Rajkumar, he totally changed his mind. “When he (Rajkumar) sat me down and started narrating all that had happened in Sanju’s life, I was stunned! At first, I thought it was hogwash… that Sanju was somehow not telling Raju the truth, but when we started researching all that he’s said — from the 308 girlfriends he had to how he begged on the streets of US — we realised that everything he had told us was true!”
Luckily we don’t have to wait too long to see if the movie is worth the hype. It’s out on 29th June!
