Once upon a time Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya were considered to be the golden couple of the Telugu film industry. Everything about their romance appeared to be dreamy! Alas, sometimes dreams do come to an end. Samantha and Naga announced their separation in October 2022. A few months later, social media was buzzing with rumours of Naga’s relationship with Shobhita Dhulipala.
It all started when Naga and Shobhita were spotted on a date. While the two never spoke about their relationship, Samantha surely has her take on it. In a recent interview, she spoke about her ex-husband’s relationship rumours and said, “I am not bothered as to who is in a relationship with whom. Those who do not know the value of love will be left in tears irrespective of the number of people they date. At least that girl should be happy. If he changes his behaviour and looks after the girl without hurting her, it will be good for everyone.”
I love how poised and mature Samantha’s response was. There wasn’t an ounce of bitterness in her response. This woman is class all the way!
What Went Wrong Between Samantha & Naga?
For the longest time, everyone has been guessing what happened between Samantha and Naga that ruined their relationship. Both the actors have maintained silence on the subject. However, on Koffee With Karan Season 7, the Oh Baby star opened up on her separation and said, “It has been hard. But it’s good now. It’s fine. I am stronger than I have ever been.”
Samantha also hinted that she is not comfortable enough to be around Naga. The actress said, “There are hard feelings like if you put the both of us in a room you have to hide sharp objects.”
It has been a tough ride for Samantha for sure, but I am in awe of her strength and courage. You go, girl!
