Karan Johar announced the new season of Koffee With Karan, he promised us a season full of steamy scandals and witty conversations. And boy-oh-boy has he kept his word! We’re only in the third episode of Koffee With Karan season 7 and guests Akshay Kumar and Samantha Ruth Prabhu have already filled our Koffee cups with wit and sarcasm. However, the highlight of the episode was defs when Samantha opened up about her divorce. NGL, the actress was unapologetically herself and we’re loving it!

Samantha publicly announced her split with ex-husband Naga Chaitanya in October last year with an Insta post. While the actress has never spoken about her life post divorce, on today’s Koffee episode, Samantha spilled all the beans. She said, “It (life post the divorce) has been hard. But it’s good now. It’s fine and I’m stronger than I have ever been.”
And though the picture on her ‘Gram stated that the split between the two was amicable, in today’s episode of KWK, Samantha said otherwise. “Are there hard feelings? Like if you put us both in a room, you have to hide sharp objects? Yeah, as of now, yes,” the actress expressed. TBH, we love that Samantha didn’t shy away from addressing the current status with her ex-husband. And we’re also totally digging her savage honesty!
The Oo Antava actress also addressed trolls who had much to say about her public divorce declaration. She said, “I really couldn’t complain about it. Because I chose that path, I chose to be transparent and I also chose to reveal a lot about my life. And when the separation happened, I couldn’t be too upset about it because they invested in my life and it was my responsibility to have answers, which I didn’t have at that point. And I think I came out of it okay, better than okay”.
