Fans are yet to get over Samantha Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya’s separation. While both of them seem to have moved on, some are still praying that they get back together. Well, what I am just about to share might give these fans (false) hope! A recent picture of Samantha suggests that she carries a part of Naga (or “Chay” as he is fondly called) with herself.
In the picture from the Citadel premiere that is now going viral on social media, Samantha can be seen posing with Stanley Tucci aka Nigel from Devil Wears Prada. While people are commenting on how glamm Sam looks in her all-black fit and Bvlgari jewels, it is the hint of a tattoo on her side rib that has caught fans’ attention.
For the unversed, Samantha got Chay’s name inked on exactly that spot after marrying the Premam star. It looks like the actress has used makeup to hide the tattoo. The faded ink is clearly visible in the picture and that has led to a lot of speculation.

When Samantha Advised To Never Ever Get A Tattoo
In a 2022 Instagram Q&A, someone asked Samantha, “Some tattoo ideas that you’d love to have one day (sic).” The actress replied, “You know the one thing that I would tell my younger self is ‘never ever get a tattoo.’ Never Ever.”
Samantha has two more tattoos apart from the one with her ex-husband’s name. To make things worse, both have a Naga Chaitanya connection. One of the tattoos is on the nape of Sam’s neck. It says “YMC” and represents the initials of her first film (Ye Maaya Chesave) which also starred Chay. The third tattoo is two upward tattoos on her right wrist. Her ex-husband has a similar tattoo as well!
However, do not get any wrong message from the fact that Sam has still not gotten rid of the tattoo. Ink removal is often a painful and long process. Also, even tattoos with other people’s names on them sometimes retain personal value for people. Remember how Deepika Padukone held on to her ‘RK’ tattoo for a long time after the breakup?
