It’s only been a week since Fenty Beauty launched in India and we’re still not over some of the products. Everything from the shades to the textures makes the products genuinely worth the hype.
While it may be a while before the other two lines – Fenty Skin and Fenty Parfum are launched in the country, we do have enough products to obsess over for now. But it turns out it’s not just us obsessing over the makeup; Rihanna, too, can’t seem to get enough!
Fenty Beauty hosted a masterclass with Rihanna’s personal makeup artist, Priscilla Ono. Ono took us through the products and the right ways to use them. But she also spilled a little secret (jokingly, of course)—Rihanna always steals one product from her! Ono says that RiRi probably has over 50 of these stashed around—that’s how much she loves it!
The Product Rihanna’s Obsessed With
Ono always has the Fenty Beauty Invisimatte Instant Setting & Blotting Powder on her. Because Rihanna has an oily skin type, she’s always stocked up on the product, having multiple pieces in her vanity and almost every bag. Despite that, RiRi’s always trying to sneakily get her hands on Ono’s stash, which only goes on to prove that you can never have too many pieces of your favourite product!
Fun fact! We learned that Rihanna made the product (for herself) as a blotting powder to combat her oily skin. The Fenty Invisimatte powder was initially just called a blotting powder. Eventually, they realised how good the powder was at setting makeup, mattifying the skin and blurring out pores, and that’s when they rebranded it and relaunched it as a setting + blotting powder. The translucent powder offers a matte finish to the skin without making it look cakey and even helps makeup stay on longer.
As someone with extremely oily skin, if it’s good enough for Rihanna, I know it’s worth the hype. I guess I know what I’m spending my money on next month!
