Without a trace of doubt, Bollywood actress Richa Chadha is one of the most active celebs on Twitter. She not only uses the platform for professional announcements but also loves to interact with her followers. Unfortunately, the actress is no longer going to be using Twitter for a while. While we are surely gonna miss Richa on Twitter, there is a reason for her decision.
Recently, Richa faced a mean-spirited comment from a Twitter user, who questioned her relationship with Bollywood actor Ali Fazal. It all happened when Richa posted an adorable picture with the Fukrey actor. As always the two were looking super cute together!
While most comments on the post were full of love, one social media user trolled Richa. The comment in question reads, ‘When are you getting divorced, tell, because your marriage is not going to last like Aamir Khan.’
The Dev.D actress responded to this comment and wrote, “Sarvesh, forget about me, why are you questioning me just because no one married you willingly? In your case, it must have been the girl who had asked for dowry. Neither do you have looks or intelligence and you are also poor? Your mother must have switched from LPG to an earthen stove. My regards to aunty. What sort of s*** faced devil have you brought into this world? This unemployed, pitiable person can only dare to comment here.”
After this incident, Richa decided to take some time off Twitter. Well, after observing this altercation, who can blame her? She notified her followers via a tweet and wrote, “Deleting this app off of my phone. Takes too much, is toxic. Bye.”
Instantly people started commenting on the post and asked her to reconsider her decision. Later, Richa clarified that she is just taking some time off from Twitter. “Not deactivating account , just taking a break guyzzzz. Stop sending emo msgs (sic)” reads the tweet.
Though we’ll miss Richa’s presence on Twitter, we stan a star who knows how to deal with trolls. You do you, gurl!
