Are You Sheer About This?
Alessandra Ambrosio took the “free the boob” movement too seriously, as she ditched her bra and arrived in a sheer silver dress by Dundas to the after-party. She showed off her bare back in a tiny, low-rise silver G-string that she wore underneath the mesh dress. The look was accessorised with matching diamond danglers.
The ‘Barely There’ Dress
Ciara left very little to the imagination as she showed up in a barely-there mesh dress by Dundas. The shimmering net halter gown was worn with black underwear and flesh-coloured pasties to cover up. She added red carpet glamm with Cartier earrings and black velvet gloves.
Saved By The Feather!
Euphoria fame, Hunter Schafer showed us just what a single feather can do! It looked like designer Ann Demeulemeester simply decided to tape a feather quill pen across her chest. The controversial feather top was paired with a white silk maxi skirt that featured a slight mermaid train.
Seeing Through Diamonds
Was the theme ‘sheer’ for the Oscars after-party? We spotted yet another racy see-through outfit on Daisy Edgar-Jones that was doused in rhinestones and jewels. The Normal People star wore a nude bodysuit underneath her Gucci number. Since the ensemble was already dripping in diamonds, the actress skipped the accessories.
Silk & Leather
Olivia Wilde made quite a statement in a Gabriela Hearst gown which was crafted from cream silk wool. The one-shoulder number revealed a black Nappa leather bra, also by the Uruguayan designer. The leather bra added a daring touch to the otherwise romantic dressing style. Wilde paired her after-party outfit with a diamond necklace and drop earrings.
Ditching The Underwear!
Lady Gaga made a big impression on the Oscars 2023 carpet, as she does almost every time. She wore a dramatic black Versace gown with a sheer corset bodice, a full skirt that reached the floor, and a crystal-encrusted belt across her hips. The gown, however, was not your typical one. The skirt had a drop waistline that dipped below her backside, and the singer wore no underwear and proudly displayed her backside!
A Blazer Dress Unlike Any Other!
Tessa Thompson arrived in a rather unique blazer dress by Moschino. The black off-shoulder dress featured a blazer-like collar and buttons on the front. However, it revealed a red bra that resembled a rose and featured a side slit that gave us a glimpse of her Calzedonia tights.
The Oscar 2023 red carpet may have been a bland beige colour, but the celebs of the night did add some spice to it with their risqué outfits.
