With their kabhi haan, kabhi na romance Raqesh Bapat and Shamita Shetty really did tease the hell out of us in Bigg Boss OTT. Yes, the chemistry was crackling. Yes, the two were visibly attracted to each other. Yes, they even admitted that their bond was something above and beyond the game. And yet, the two never said it out loud to each other during the show. Every time we thought that one of them was finally going to give us that one epic BB moment with a swooping declaration, something would go off. It looked like while they were clearly drawn towards each other they were also resisting it. However, through it all Raqesh kept giving us hope. ‘Bahar jakar dekehnge,’ was the line that had us rooting for them and not giving up on the couple.
Well, guess what? We are glad that we didn’t ‘coz seems like something is finally cooking between Raqesh and Shamita. In fact, Raqesh just admitted that Shamita is definitely more than a friend to him. “Obviously, it’s a little more than just friends. It was quite evident in the show. Yes, she is special, she is somebody I really like to spend time with, to talk to, to communicate with,” he said earlier today in an interview with an entertainment portal.
During the conversation, he praised Shamita and called her a “very strong woman with a pure soul.” But more importantly, Raqesh helped us with a relationship update and shared that they are taking it slow and steady. “We have spent some time together but we still have to spend a lot of time. We need to know each other more. I don’t want to rush into things and I am sure she doesn’t want to either. Matters like these, we need to deal with the heart in the right place, and with some mindfulness. So, let’s see where it goes. We will make an effort to know each other, for sure. Right now, if you are talking about the status, we like each other, we are great friends. Hopefully, when something happens, you guys will know about it,” he further added.
Well, we are elated to find out that Raqesh and Shamita have finally decided to give it a try ‘coz they actually make a beautiful couple. Here’s hoping that everything works out for these two!
