We were quite excited when Raqesh Bapat entered Bigg Boss 15 as a wild card contestant. His reunion with Shamita Shetty was super romantic and we were thrilled to watch their gameplay in the show. But, fate had other plans for these two as the actor left the house shortly after his arrival.
Due to medical reasons, Raqesh has quit the game and has decided to not come back. Surprisingly, this information did not sit well with his girlfriend, who accused him of abandoning her when things got tough. Honestly, her reaction shocked the audience and they wondered if Raqesh’s move to quit BB 15 was pre-planned.
Well, the actor has recently issued a statement on his social media handle and cleared that he made the call while prioritising his health. Here’s what he wrote:
In a heartfelt note, the Tum Bin actor thanked his fans for showering him with love and wrote, “Your love pulled me back into the Bigg Boss house and yet the stay was short-lived because of health issues that cropped up. A health issue from 5 years ago has cropped up, unforeseen and painful. To all of you that have been asking, I’m much better and in recovery and as all of you have rightly said health comes first!”
While talking about his special connection with Shamita, he wrote, “I’ve formed a special connection through this journey which has become precious, one which you guys have with love named `ShaRa’. We both are proud to have all of you in our lives and for us, the Lens of positivity is most important! So keep the positivity flowing.”
During the last Weekend Ka Vaar episode, the actress was informed by host Salman Khan that her beau had taken a voluntary exit from the show. She was quite disappointed with the update and said, “He shouldn’t have come, as soon as the going gets tough, he runs away. At least stand and fight. I knew anyways he’s leaving as something was off. He knew he was going, he knew it and he didn’t tell me.”
Raqesh cleared in his note that his decision was solely based on his health and wrote, “Remember if it wasn’t for my health I would be entertaining you inside the house. I never wanted to leave without a proper goodbye but little did I know in that pain, that this would become my exit! Yet all I can say is this was one small part of the journey, our connection continues for a lifetime as I’m looking forward to being back on my feet soon to entertain all of you!”
While the actor’s sudden exit from the show is defs a bummer, we totes agree that he needs to take care of his health ATM. On the other hand, Shamita has temporarily exited the show based on medical grounds as well. We hope that the two have a speedy recovery and the actress comes back to the BB house soon.
