Remember how Sara Ali Khan casually mentioned that she would love to date Kartik Aaryan on Koffee With Karan? That got a lot of us rooting for the pair and it turns out, so was Bollywood!
At a recent event, Ranveer Singh decided to take matters in his own hands and turn matchmaker for the two. Ranveer was spotted talking to Kartik during the event and then took him aside to meet his Simmba co-star Sara, who looked flushed, to say the least.
Ranveer making a heart for the two of them is actually all of us hoping they finally end up together. Don’t you think Sara and Kartik look so good in the frame together? But alas, rumours suggest that Kartik actually has a girlfriend. He is reportedly dating model Dimple Sharma. Sara Ali Khan, on the other hand, is single! Sigh.
While nothing is confirmed on paper, Sara and Kartik may apparently be paired in Imtiaz Ali’s next film. Is Imtiaz thinking what we’re thinking? The two are bound to set the screen on fire with their chemistry from what we’re seeing in the video. Anyway, Ranveer did a good deed and we’re happy it was caught on camera. We wonder what the two have to say about their meet-cute!
Sara Ali Khan made her Bollywood debut with Kedarnath earlier this month and she has received a lot of praises for her performance in the film. She will next be seen on the big screen with Ranveer Singh in Simmba. Ranveer Singh is seen playing a cop in the Rohit Shetty film and if the song, Aankh Marey is anything to go by, it looks like an exciting movie.
Meanwhile, Kartik is all set to appear in Luka Chuppi opposite Kriti Sanon. In the film, he said to play a television reporter and it is a new-age love story based in Mathura. The movie is being produced by Dinesh Vijan, the producer behind movies like Stree, Hindi Medium and Cocktail.
