The actress is riding high on the success of her film Gangubai Kothewali and her performance has left even her beau Ranbir Kapoor impressed. Honestly, we aren’t really surprised by this cause Alia’s seamless performance in the film is all anyone can talk about ATM.
Ranbir showered Alia with a lot of praise in a recent interview and we got all the deets for you. The Rockstar actor said, “Alia just whacked it out of the park in Gangubai. I’m so proud of her. I’ve seen how much she gave to that film in the process of making it. And she deserves every bit of success that’s coming her way, every bit of love that’s coming her way. I’m dying to see RRR. I’ve been busy shooting so I haven’t got the opportunity yet.”
This is not the first time that Ranbir has praised his ladylove and we adore him for it. A while ago, the actor shared how the actress makes him feel like an ‘underachiever’. He said, “My girlfriend Alia is a bit of an overachiever, and she probably took every class there is, from guitar to screenwriting. I always feel like an underachiever next to her.”
TBH, we love how proud Ranbir appears to be in awe of Alia, it is oh-so-endearing! This is the relationship energy that we all want in the year 2022 and nothing less than this is going to cut it. So, thank you Ranbir for raising the bar for boyfriends everywhere.
