Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been making headlines for almost a year now, after their first public appearance in May 2018 at Sonam Kapoor’s wedding. Since then, we’ve all been getting regular updates on their relationship, from Alia Bhatt’s cosy dinners with the Kapoor family to dinner dates and public appearances. Their love story is straight out of the movies and this IT couple of Bollywood made quite an entrance at Umang 2019. The two walked in hand-in-hand at the event. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt also performed at the event, alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
Ranbir was missing from Alia’s cousin’s wedding reception, but they attended this event together and appeared so much in love as they looked into each other’s eyes. Alia’s smiles were reserved for beau.
Umang is an annual cultural extravaganza by Bollywood in honour of Mumbai Police; the 2019 event took place last evening. And just like every year, all the A-listers of Bollywood were present to perform and meet the real-life heroes at an event, hosted by none other than the Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor performed with the Badshah, while Ranbir’s ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif also took the stage. Ranveer Singh was his quirky best as he posed with the cops and honoured them along with the other stars.
