Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are no strangers to the critical eyes of the troll police. Since day one, their actions have been scrutinised. Take, for instance, this recent incident where Ranbir and Alia were posing for the shutterbugs. Netizens unjustly slammed Ranbir for ‘incorrectly’ holding his pregnant wife, Alia. Many even pointed out that he looked like he was not paying attention to her and they felt Ranbir was ‘forced’ to be in the picture.
Here, take a look at the viral video:
Now, in another incident, the parents are once again under the scanner. This time, Alia and Ranbir were deemed ‘arrogant’ because they did not stop for the paparazzi and pose. To give you some context, the couple were seen entering Kareena Kapoor Khan’s birthday bash. As usual, there was a frenzy of paps outside the event. While many celebs waited patiently for their pics to be clicked, Ranbir and Alia were the exception as they rushed into the party. Many took offence to this, and began trolling the actors for their ‘rude’ behaviour. NGL, netizens sure are overreacting. See for yourself:
Comments such as, ‘inki photo Leni band kar do‘ (stop taking their photos) and ‘ghamandi‘ (arrogant), were dropped on the video. The trolls didn’t stop there as they even called Alia and Ranbir ‘the worst couple’ and some also left nasty comments about Alia’s attire.
While we’re aware that celebs may be used to the incessant trolling, we think it’s totally uncalled for. Alia is currently pregnant and may not want or feel like posing for the cam. The couple might also just want to get to the party quickly, but this doesn’t mean their intention was to hurt anyone.
While they are public figures, we must also remind ourselves that celebs are also humans. We really cannot expect them to pose and be cheerful at our will. It’s okay to cut them some slack when they don’t feel like posing for the paps.
So, instead of spreading negativity, we hope everyone can learn to be a little more kind.
