On the contrary, we’ve had an incredible time witnessing the happily-ever-afters of our fave celebs. And guess what? Just when we thought our month couldn’t get any more exciting, it did! According to the grapevine, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are currently busy with their shaadi preps, and we can’t keep calm!
Apparently, the lovebirds aren’t keen on a destination wedding and will be getting hitched in Mumbai. “Ranbir’s uncles and Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt won’t be able to travel far for their wedding, and due to their convenience and happiness, they are ready to get hitched in Mumbai,” a source close to the couple told an online portal. We also hear that they’ve almost finalised the luxurious Taj Land Ends as their wedding venue. OMG, how exciting is this! As for their wedding date, the buzz is that the couple will be tying the knot sometime in December next year or early January 2023.
That’s not all, as opposed to what was being reported earlier, Alia and Ranbir will be having an intimate celebration and not a big fat shaadi. “The couple will tie the knot in the presence of their close and loved ones, they don’t want to do a lavish wedding. It will be closed knit affair as Ranbir and Alia, both are very private individuals,” the source further added. NGL fam, we were all set to witness their star-studded celebration, and we’re feeling a tad bit disappointed.
Well, we absolutely ship Ranbir and Alia big time! From spending time with their fam to being each other’s cheer leaders, they’re #CoupleGoals in every sense. We can’t wait for their fairytale wedding to happen Here’s hoping the two give us an official shaadi update ASAP.
