I Found Love: Rana Daggubati & Miheeka Bajaj’s Proposal Story Will Make Your Heart Explode

Falling in love is a wonderful feeling. Especially when that love ends in a happily ever after as it happened for actor Rana Daggubati and designer Miheeka Bajaj. A couple of days ago our Tollywood heartthrob announced his engagement to Miheeka on Instagram. And we have to say, the pictures were oh-so-gorgeous. The two kept their relationship a secret and we only got to know when the actor made it Insta official a few weeks ago.

Rana recently spoke to a leading daily and revealed how he proposed to his lady love. And all we can say is that love isn’t about swooning over each other every day and it isn’t about grand gestures and over the top declarations–it’s about the little moments. 

Rana shared that after meeting Miheeka he just went with the flow, “For the first time, I thought we should do it quickly. So, she must have done something. When things are good, I don’t ask questions. I just went with the flow. The girl was right. I can’t put it in words. I met her and felt I can do this long term with her. It happened quick and in the most simple manner,” says Rana. Well, ladies you may be heartbroken but his heart wants what his heart wants. And it certainly wants Miheeka Bajaj!

The actor further revealed that Miheeka and Rana are neighbours at Jubilee Hills, “Miheeka was brought up in Hyderabad. She lives right next to us in Jubilee Hills. She can speak Telugu, not fluent in it but yes. Also, our worlds are the same. The fun fact is that she is friends with my family, and I know her circle of friends in Mumbai,” he added. Rana said he never thought about not marrying someone from the industry, “I never thought about it. I met her, I liked her, and that’s it. I found love.”

Taking about the proposal, Rana said he called Miheeka and she knew what he was about to ask her. “She knew where I’m getting at when I called her. And then she met me in person, that’s it. I remember I said a bunch of things together. For me, it was serious. It was commitment. When I met her, that’s the time I felt I am ready to do this. It was that simple, for real,” he added.

Just like us, the couple’s family also didn’t have much idea about what the two were planning. He further revealed that their families were “shocked and extremely happy” as this was something that “they wanted since a long time.”

Speaking about having a grand wedding, the actor said, “Depends on the world’s situation. I found the strangest time to get married.”
