We get the frenzy around the #RaLia wedding. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are among the biggest Bollywood stars right now and make one power-packed team. Plus, as Ranbir himself shared, the wedding has been delayed by a couple of years now and we have all been waiting. So, yes, we get it if the netizens want constant updates from the biggest celeb shaadi of the decade and the paps are trying to deliver. However, with the wedding just around the corner, this is also a good time to discuss how much is too much. A lot of ludicrous #RaLia wedding updates from yesterday have us asking this question.
Last evening, we saw a pap account going gaga over a truck carrying utensils to Ranbir Kapoor’s house. Yup, that’s it, that was the post— a truck carrying cauldrons! Not too long after that, another pap account revealed that the actor’s Bandra house (also the wedding venue) has been covered by white curtains to maintain privacy. The most surprising part? That we did not see it coming after the invasive coverage so far.
Well, we are glad that they took this call before paps started haggling workers on the venue and taking videos while they tried concentrating on work. We have already seen videos to predict that it would have happened and, in fact, continues to happen in Neetu Kapoor’s case. Every singly day, she is followed by the paps and asked questions about the wedding even when it is crystal clear that she is not going to speak about it.
For a couple of days now, paps have also been keeping a close eye on the lighting (yesss!) on Ranbir and Alia’s house and constantly posting pictures. Well, it will be kinda nice if we all took a step back and stopped acting like it is our wedding. Yes, it is possible to look forward to the #RaLia wedding without bothering their parents and going full loco. Can we give it a try, please? We must!
