After facing compatibility issues for a couple of years, Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa finally got divorced on June 8, 2023. While the former couple might have had a massive public showdown during their divorce proceedings, they’re currently on amicable terms and are co-parenting their daughter, Ziana. However, some people still have their doubts that Rajeev and Charu may still not be over each other, and we just got our hands on an update that proves our point.
Rajeev and Charu recently made headlines because of their camaraderie at the Father’s Day celebration. What added fuel to the fire was when Rajeev revealed in his recent vlog that he offered a role to ex-wife Charu in his upcoming web series. The actor seemed all pumped to be sharing the screen with her. He said, “I would be very happy if she could be my co-star in the series. Of course, I will give her a very good role, Charu and I have never really worked together. We have done vlogging together but never worked professionally. The script demands good actors and Charu is a good actor, she would do a great job. Sharing the screen with her would be very special. I just hope she agrees and joins the team and we can work together.”
This came right after Rajeev confessed his desire to get back with Charu in the future. A few days after their official divorce, Rajeev talked about his daughter’s well-being during a media interaction. He also said how love will always remain between him and Charu as parents. “As a father, giving her my maximum time is more important to me, and so is Charu’s well-being. My love & unconditional support will always be there for her. I also hope someday Charu and I can get back together again,“ said Rajeev.
While we still don’t know if Charu will be on board for doing a show with Rajeev, we can’t wait to see their on-screen chemistry!
