Apart from the coronavirus pandemic, lockdown weddings have been another highlight in 2020. But honestly, as long as love prevails, we are not complaining! Speaking of love, choreographer and actor Punit J Pathak finally decided to add an eternal milestone in his dreamy love story with his long-term girlfriend, Nidhi Moony Singh. Punit and Nidhi are finally married!
The couple tied the knot on December 11 in a private ceremony in Lonavala. The intimate wedding was attended by their family members and some close friends like Bharti Singh and her husband, Harsh Limbachiyaa, Shakti Mohan, Yashashwini Dayama, and Mouni Roy.
Before the wedding, Punit had said in an interview, “It’s a mix of emotions. Nidhi and I are trying to be as normal as possible, but after every half an hour I feel a rush of emotions signalling my brain that damn, I am getting married! Nidhi and I have talked about it, and we would like to keep things the way they are now or say the way they have been since the day we first met. Nothing can be better than getting hitched to your best friend.”

Nidhi looked absolutely stunning in a gorgeous pink lehenga by designer Disha Patil while Punit looked dapper in a light pink sherwani. Nidhi chose to wear kundan jewellery with her D-day outfit and we’re crushing extra hard on her mathapatti.
Punit shared a gorgeous picture and wrote, “#PseNiTak . A start with no end. A script that has finally matched up to her fairy tale! I SIXTH SENSE YOU !” Nidhi, one the other hand, wrote, “My Best Friend…My Boyfriend…My Fiancé…My Husband… My Fairytale….”

Mom’s Saree, 38 Years Later!
For her haldi, Nidhi looked like an absolute vision in a beautiful yellow saree but wait, there’s a lot more to her look than what meets the eyes. The stunning model decoded her look for us in her caption and explained that her saree and maangtika actually belonged to her mother. In fact, she also added that she had been waiting to wear them on her wedding ever since she was a child! She wrote, “Saree: I have had this saree since I was a kid who thought of getting married someday. This is my mother’s saree and I have always wanted to wear it for a special day. Maangtika : My mother wore it for her wedding and 38 years later I wore it for my haldi hoping to look as pretty as @sitarasinghraghuvanshi.”

2-Letter Love Story
It feels like just yesterday when the couple was beaming from ear to ear on their engagement ceremony. The lovebirds made their relationship official and exchanged rings in August and looked absolutely smitten by each other. Nidhi opted for a bright yellow lehenga while Punit wore a floral sherwani. She wrote in the caption, “US – Our two-letter love story.”
