The Chopras and Jonas families are on cloud nine right now, and for all the right reasons. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s engagement was the most-awaited roka ceremony of the year. The duo got engaged in a private ceremony on Saturday, followed by an engagement bash later in the night which saw a log of Bollywood biggies in attendance.
However, PeeCee’s mom Madhu has a major concern about her daughter and her marriage. And nobody gives us better life lessons than our moms, right? Especially when we are about to start a new life, so it was no different for PeeCee too. We all follow our mothers and learn from instances while we grow up. And so did PeeCee.

In an interview, Priyanka’s mother said:
“A marriage should be built brick by brick and every day should be like Valentines Day. The husband should be qualified enough to take care of his wife in health and happiness.”
In a previous interview, she had once said:
“They (happy couples) don’t argue or fight but sit and listen to each other’s point of view. This is the perfect wedding lesson for the newly-engaged couple. These lessons have been instilled in Priyanka since a very young age.”
Initially when Nick went out for dinner with the Chopra family, mom Madhu thought it’s too early to form an impression about him. When asked about what she thought of Nick, she said:
“We just went out for dinner where Nick was present. But it was a large group. There were 10-odd people, so I didn’t get the time to know him that well. I have met him for the first time, so it’s too early to form an opinion”.
But later, when she got to know more about Nick she was convinced about her daughter’s choice and looked very positive.
